  • Freedom!

What does freedom mean to you? How does this relate to you as a blogger? For me freedom means many things. First, it can be freedom of speech, which means that you have the right to say what you think. In addition, freedom of speech means hat you have to express your ideas by writing them or saying them. Freedom can also mean that you are free as a person, this means that nobody owns you, or you do not have to do what somebody tells you to. Unless they are paying you to work, or you are in school. Freedom doesn’t apply just to you as a person. Freedom also applies to whole nations, the United States was based on freedom. In the Declaration of Independence, Thomas Jefferson wrote that they wanted to be a separate country and be free. What he meant by this was, no more unfair taxes, quartering soldiers, and all the other unfair acts made by King George and the British soldiers. So pretty much, this is what freedom means to me and to some other people too.I think that freedom relates to me as a blogger because when you write, you can express your feelings and your thoughts. I think that the administrators of edublogs must respect people thoughts, as long as the writer doesn’t put any threat or uses fowl language. I think that this also relates to me as a blogger, because these blogs are designed for people to express there feelings and write what they think. Freedom also relates to edublogs, because this is like a public diary. People express their feelings and write for other people to read and comment on them.Freedom is a right that must be respected, by people from all over the world. This was a really interesting topic to write about, and it make me think deeply on the word freedom.
